Great Lakes Shipwreck Musuem, Paradise, Michigan https://www.shipwreckmuseum.com/ "The Great Lakes Shipwreck Historical Society was founded in 1978 by a group of divers, teachers, and educators to commerce exploration of historic shipwrecks in eastern Lake Superior, near Whitefish Point in Michigan's scenic Upper Peninsula" I gotta say, we really try not to anyone in our photos we take to share online, but someone's foot is in there, I mean there is no reason or whatever not to put it in there ...can you say who it is?? KIDDING, but I'm seriously that is never our thought to use someone's photo in our website without their permission but what are you gonna do?? I mean I've gone to the put of not using the photo 'cause I don't wanna or because (can I take a moment to say that I think it is hilarious when google "spell check really doesn't enjoy me using "gotta" (got to), "gonna" (going to) or "wanna" (want to),...

  Crisp Point Light, Michigan "coast of Lake Superior between Munising and Whitefish Point in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan." The road into this lighthouse, was not in the best condition, but it was well worth it ...GORGEOUS!! So amazing. Look at that view. Me, leaning over touching the water of Lake Superior, Wow WEE, it was cold. No joke, we both had on our heavier coat, the winds were wild that day. Cannot imagine the winds and weather this lighthouse as seen??! We love visiting lighthouses, and this beauty was a FREE visit, yeah, they do ask for a donation. The views were just breathtaking.   Thrope Ford Bridge - 1912 built by: JA Britton "northeast of Rosedale, Indiana"  it made me smile to see the amount of these bridges that were dealt with  ...maybe put onto the national register in 1978 ...what a great year!!!! Nevins Bridge - 1920 built by: JA Britton "crosses Little Raccoon Creek, southeast Catlin, Indiana." Neet Bridge - 1904 built by: JJ Daniels "J.J. Daniels had a long career as a bridge builder starting in southern Ohio in the 1840's.  He died in 1916 age of 90." McAllister Bridge - 1914 built by: JA Britton "Burr Arch structure that was built by Joseph A. Britton and Son.  144 feet long, 16 feet wide, 14 feet high." Crooks Bridge - 1856 built by: J.   Beeson Bridge, Rockville, Indiana - 1906 "Burr Arch construction by Frankfort Construction Co., crossed Roaring Creek near Marshall. Was moved to Billie Creek Village in 1980." I love it when we find covered bridges that have been rescued and moved to another location, to ensure their life, instead of being torn down or completely forgotten. So amazing. I don't recall which month these shots were taken; I know it was 2021. We had a bunch of rallies over the 2021 year, only 1 trailer rally this year in 2022. We have done shorter trips this year.  Campbell's Covered Bridge, South Carolina "This bridge, built in 1909, is the last extant covered bridge in South Carolina. Built by Charles Irwin (1878-1966), it was named for Alexander Lafayette Campbell (1836-1920), who owned and operated a grist mill here for many years. Measuring 35 feet long and 12 feet wide, it is an excellent example of a four-span Howe truss, featuring diagonal timbers and vertical iron rods." Wow, what a beauty. SO GORGEOUS!! Great fall colors. Taken October 2021. We love finding covered bridges, always so fun. I don't think I've ever seen one I didn't enjoy. Always fun to learn the history.   Chimney Rock State Park, NC https://www.chimneyrockpark.com/ Gorgeous area of North Carolina, there in October 2021. Lovely time of the year to be there, crisp cool morning. Just amazing. Breathtaking. I know I took a great shot of the American flag (found it!! Even found a panorama photo, hope you can tell the amount of beauty that was up there, gorgeous area of NC!!) up there on the top, (please do recall that you can always enlarge these photos, by clicking on the 1 you wish to see larger. Just a "heads up" there, SMILES!!) but sadly I cannot find it anywhere, wonder what happened to it??!! I recall sending it to my parents, we always try to stay in touch with them while traveling. You know one of those "epic" photographing moments, nuts!!??!? My legs really hurt after this visit, I wonder how you can make stairs like that for exercising purposes, I mean those work some really good muscles in your legs. LOL!!   Lake Lure Flowering Bridge, North Carolina lakelurefloweringbridge.org This would be a fun location to travel to in different seasons, you would find lots of different blooms available to check out, I'm sure on that!!
