  Saint Meinrad, Saint Meinrad, Indiana. Monastery. "80+ monks living, working and praying in a Benedictine monastery." So pretty, we really wanted to get up close and personal. But didn't know any one just curious for a picture and whatnot. Gorgeous grounds and views. They do sell caskets ...didn't have room in the back of our truck.   Beck's Mill, Salem, Indiana https://becksmill.org/ This mill ...the road around it was being worked on ...so it was just a small area we could capture, but you get the point and see the unique beauty. We are always a fan of grist mills. If you care to know more about the area and about the mill in general head to that website. It has been out of work lately. So I hope they will get it back in working order. I saw that it was open by appointment only ...not sure who would be able to get it open again? Some1 who would spend tons of money or what??   Windmill Park, Holland, Indiana Such a sweet park, perfect for the little ones (with slide, and other little one playset, swings) or just to read a book. "Dutch-Style Windmill, replica."   We saw this covered bridge from the road, stopped by to see it up close. It is going toward the Wisltem Wildlife Park, Paoli, Indiana. The Three Amigos Bridge in honor of "Rich Richard", "Lee Leroy", and "Bernie Bernard" Fuhs ...so glad we saw this one ...I enjoy the style. (Please do zoom in to see the plaque to learn of the history of this bridge.) We didn't visit the park but checked out several more sights ...you will see those soon. Have a great day. "Why called French Lick Indiana: early French settlers and the "mineral licks". French traders came to the area and discovered the mineral springs bubbling from the ground..." What a cool area. Huffman Mill Bridge 1864-65 If you would please enlarge the one photo to really see the history of this bridge ...rather than me just retyping the bit ...u will enjoy those tidbits. SO COOL!!   Huntingburg City Park "Dubois County Bombers" in Huntingburg, Indiana "A League of Their Own". 1992. With Tom Hanks, Geena Davis and Madonna ...just to name a few of the top folks. Stadium was built in 1894. Have you seen that movie before? So good. I am just amazed that they have kept the stadium looking so great. They apparently still hold game there so that is SUPER cool. We saw a worker who was there working on this and that. The room where the ladies got dressed was there, but it was not really that authentic like I recall ...and several masks laying on the floor ...so NOT that great for pics. But it was fun to think about where Tom Hanks stood and every one else ... very NEAT!! I really enjoyed it. Now if you know anything about Beth ...I love BASEBALL. Well more than any other sport out there. I recall many a games where I sat and watched my brother Billy play t-ball. I never wanted to play myself, but I am a great spectator in the stands.
