I would have put money it that I did in fact take a picture of this very same shot that I also put on my instagram feed? But where is it? Great shot, huh? All the camping friends jumped in vehicles and drove to this winery ...just around the corner from Gunn Creek Campground. Pheasant Hollow Winery, 14931 St. Hwy 37, Whittington, Illinois, 62897 ...so many of those friends bought treats to share ...we did too. Some peanut filled pretzels. This is a quiet getaway. Gunn Creek Campground, Address: Golf Course Dr, Whittington, IL 62897, Phone: (618) 724-2493. We were at this park for 6 days and the weather was always changing ... one day warm, cold, freezing, so much wind we thought we might blow away ... it was wild!! But the hubby who prefer water front sites was so thrilled. We got to see so many amazing sights at this party ... eagles, birds of all sorts, but you know what was funny a camper friend said ... "Did you notice there are no squirrels?" I had not even thought about it... there were NO SQUIRRELS??? what, really? it was true. Lots of birds, tons of birds ... from all size .... Axtel Campground, Kentucky, Address: 14500 Falls of Rough Rd, Falls of Rough, KY 40119, Phone: (270) 257-2584, I was trying to recall if we normally go out in the camping world in April? I know the month of February we have never ever been camping??! It is kind of cold then.  So we were heading to Illinois for a get together with other camping buddies ... stopped at this park ... I believe my hubby had picked 3 camping spot before we got to finally keep this one we did stay in ... they were flooding as you can see. This is dam controlled ... but it does go into their camping spots and that is what happened to our other 1st wishes for camping??! Wild, huh???! You will never guess what the weather was like in the morning?? We woke up to falling snow, the hubby talked to another camper he was talking about snow in the morning, and the hubs looked at the weather report and it said NO SNOW, how do these weather folks get their jobs? One job where you can always be wrong, ...

National Corvette Museum, Bowling Green, Kentucky. 350 Corvette Drive, Bowling Green, Kentucky 42101, (270) 781-7973 opened 8 AM - 5 PM. For more info. about this museum see here:  http://www.corvettemuseum.org/  On the way up to Illinois for a gathering of Casita friends we dropped on by this awesome amazing fun museum. Shawn and I totally agree, orange is the best color to have any vehicle in. Check this beauty out!!! All these corvettes are spoken for, BUT it is so fun to see them in person. I must say I am such a fan of the older models ...they had more style to me. Maybe I just feel like I am an old soul. Have you been there for a visit? Hope you will get a chance one day soon. Standard Oil Company, Bowling Green, Kentucky, 1921, it was the first Standard Oil Station. 1921.  Restored finished in 2008. I wish more areas in the states would keep old building up and looking great, it would keep the old ways alive and looking so awesome?! Makes ya think??!!!? Apparently there is a clean restroom to use if you are visiting but we didn't know it was even there? Go ahead and check them out if you are there visiting this hold on "old time" kind of life. Hungry Mother State Park, Virginia, 2854 Park Blvd, Marion, VA. 24354, (276)781-7400. If you will notice the 1st shot has a bridge in it, that 2nd shot is an up close view of that very same bridge. Such a gorgeous park, We have seen folks get married there. So lovely. We have seen this frame move around a couple of our visits and I finally said, hey hubby take my picture, He did a pretty good job!! SO FUN!!! We have visited this state park numerous times, it is a great park. Love the kayaking and hiking. So gorgeous in the fall ... with all those leaf changes. Thank you for stopping by. Onaway State Park, Michigan. a 158 acre state park in Presque Isle County, Michigan. This is one of Michigan oldest state parks, 3622 M-211, Onaway, MI. 49765, (989)733-8279, A pretty quiet park. I enjoy some quiet time. That 1st shot so says it all for me, give me a book and I am set. Just to get away and just zone out. Get away from the noise the phones and all that jazz. We did some kayaking ...it was a gorgeous area to row around. I love finding a moment like that when my hubby is kayaking and the sunset is just right and zap that photo!!!
