Algonac State Park, Marine City, MI

Hey there folks! Let's check out: Algonac State Park, Marine City, Michigan ...if you know anything about the hubby & myself ...we love so many amazing states ...here are a few that really mean so much to us:  1. Virginia & West Virginia,  2. Montana & Wyoming,  3. Maine & Michigan  ... those are our top 3. So every time we get to Michigan ...it is like we are home again. There is not a location in Michigan we have visited that has not made us love it even more. This state park is just so amazing. Check out how close that water traffic is to the campground. You can just watch it go by ...so cool. & Right over that water way is Canada!! SO Close, SO Cool!! We saw tugboats, huge barges, tiny boats, all sorts. I think that is a huge reason why the fiberglass rally has continued to be held there over and over! I am one who enjoys going to new rallies every time, we have yet to go to the same one over, but you know what? I think ...

"Bernheim Arboretum" and Research Forest  2075 Clermont Road Clermont, KY 40110 A great place to take your dog for a walk. Go on a date, take a picnic, whatever it maybe but just take time to get away and just relax. So many hiking trails, great walking locations. So many blooms plants and trees. So calming. Quiet. We were there when it was a free time. I am not sure if it is always free, but do check into that. We had a fun time just looking around. Lots of must see art as well. The bottom shots reminds me of a game I did play as kid where you had a ball or twine that you had to keep from falling with some sticks, I don't recall the name of the game but wanted to share this amazing design with you ...here is what the sign below it did say about the artist: "Photosynthesis" - by: Myung Gyun You, 2014, Born in South Korea, lives in Philadelphia, PA, 2014 Bernheim Artist in Residence, Materials: Lath, wire, lumber, and wood stain.
